After two years without an in-person event, the energy and excitement were high at this year’s Design Excellence Awards. Organized by the Ottawa chapter of the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA), everyone came together to celebrate and honour the 2022 winners.

Laurysen’s designers heard their names called five times throughout the evening, more than any other company in the room.

“We’re all so incredibly proud of our design team,” said Sales and Marketing Manager, Harley Wallin. “Their remarkable talent shines through, time and time again.”During a time of continued industry and supply chain challenges, he added, “Laurysen designers continue to innovate and impress, creating the most beautiful spaces for our clients.”

1st Place: Best Powder Room

Caroline Castrucci’s modern bathroom design is both elegant and minimalistic. The unique geometric vanity stuns as a focal point in the powder room, its sculptural straight lines perfectly pairing with rounded features. The marble veining in the walls and flooring add to the refined and chic look.
