Job Description
Laurysen Kitchens is a family-owned business that has been creating award-winning kitchens, bathrooms, cabinetry and closets for over 50 years. Our 55,000-square-foot manufacturing facility is located in west Ottawa, and we are adding to the Delivery team!

Main Responsibilities
- Load customer orders (cabinets, countertops, etc.) and secure load for safe and damage-free travel | delivery | unload at residential, new home build construction site customer locations (mainly greater Ottawa)
- Operate 5-ton (manual or automatic transmission) truck in accordance with licensing and traffic rules, regulations, requirements
- Report load status, conduct daily pre-use vehicle inspection, vehicle log records, incident reports
- Responsible for vehicle care, including light maintenance such as cleaning, topping up fluids, tire air pressure, etc.)
- Abide by all company safety standards, policies and legislative regulations
Other Job Details
Must Be Able To:
- Must be insurable and possess valid G Class Ontario driver’s license – driver’s abstract required
- Will assist with plant-related tasks during periodic off-delivery-schedule period
- Working at Heights certification is an asset
Additional Details
- Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
- Hours: 44 per work week
- Mon to Thurs 7:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Fri 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
- (hours may be extended to complete deliveries based on traffic volumes, customer distance, and customer requirements)
- Supplemental Pay: Bonus pay
- Flexible language requirement: French not required
- Must have own transportation (no public transit)
