Kitchen & Bathroom Cabinets
Whatever your personal style (or budget) may be, Laurysen has the cabinetry that is right for your home. Our kitchen and bathroom cabinets come in three different versions: standard (prefab), semi-custom, or custom, which will integrate with your new room design, layout, and special requirements.
Create the look you desire with the perfect cabinet doors. We have an almost endless array of door designs, materials, colours, and finishes to suit your needs.
Last but not least, add function and safety with convenient features such as pop-up or rollout cabinet shelves and drawers, soft-close hinges, and childproof safety locks.
Kitchen & Bathroom Countertops
Countertops are the crowning touch to your kitchen or bathroom renovation. We offer a wide selection of stylish yet practical countertop materials:
Laminate. Generally considered the most affordable countertop option, plastic laminate coats particleboard, forming a finish that is both decorative and protective.
Quartz. Quartz (actually a mix of crushed quartz, resins, and pigments) is the “it” material for upscale countertops. We carry both Cambria and Silestone.
Natural Stone. Stone countertops are elegant classics. Granite is as durable as it is beautiful. While marble is higher maintenance, its timeless good looks are outstanding.
Corian. Corian is a blend of resin and minerals formed into solid surface countertops. These are truly seamless, integrating a kitchen or bathroom sink directly into their structure.

About Laurysen in Hintonburg
Laurysen is a longstanding Ottawa family business. John Laurysen Custom Cabinets first opened in a 1200-square-foot garage back in 1970.
Over 50 years, Laurysen has changed and grown. As our reputation for outstanding cabinetry flourished, the company expanded both premises and purpose to work with bathrooms, laundries, mudrooms, closets, and built-ins, as well as kitchens. In 1987, a fire demolished our factory. We successfully reopened, and now we’re stronger than ever.
Today, the younger Laurysen generation, Bill and Caroline, together with Caroline’s husband, Giuseppe Castrucci, are in charge. We’ve created a Laurysen dealership network across 27 marketplaces in Ontario and abroad, and our manufacturing facilities total 78,000 square feet. We’ve also joined the green movement and adopting eco-friendly water-based UV finishes.
In recognition of our achievements, Laurysen has earned many honours from the National Kitchen and Bath Association, numerous “Best of Houzz” awards, and the Ottawa Consumer’s Choice “Best Kitchen Manufacturer” (20+ years running), to name just a few.
